- Plan, direct, supervise and execute the tasks inherent to the Kitchen section and team, under the guidance of the Head Chef
- Ensure quality in the execution and presentation of dishes, acting promptly to correct deviations
- Create menus and prepare the respective technical data sheets
- Control products in stock, observing the quality of conservation and purchasing needs
- Ensure compliance with HACCP standards, raising awareness and controlling the team
- Ensure the training and level of motivation and commitment of the team
Profile:
- Technical training in Kitchen Management and Production
- Proven professional experience in haute cuisine restaurants (minimum of 3 years in a similar role)
- Solid knowledge of advanced culinary techniques
- Advanced knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
- Strong organisational, time management and planning skills
- Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills
- Strong sense of responsibility, rigour and commitment to excellence
- Proactive, passionate about gastronomy and service, and attentive to detail
- Good personal and professional presentation
- Computer skills from a user perspective
- Ability to adapt to flexible working hours
