- Prepare, bake and present pastry products, ensuring quality and compliance with defined standards
- Plate and ensure the careful presentation of pastry products
- Check and control the quality, stock and conservation of the products used
- Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment, complying with HACCP standards
- Comply with and ensure compliance with Quality, Environment and Safety standards and procedures
- Contribute to alignment with Pedro Lemos' Policies, Strategy and Objectives
- Perform other activities necessary for the proper functioning of the space
- Replace other Cooks and Pastry Chefs in their duties whenever necessary
Profile
- Technical training in Pastry Making
- Proven professional experience in haute cuisine restaurants (minimum of 3 years in a similar role)
- Solid knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques
- Proactivity, genuine passion for pastry and a creative mind for developing desserts and pastry elements
- Advanced knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
- Strong organisational, time management and planning skills
- Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills
- Strong sense of responsibility, rigour and commitment to excellence
- Good personal and professional presentation
- Computer skills from a user perspective
- Ability to adapt to flexible working hours
